Consultant ENT Surgeon
Mr Sean Fang is a Consultant ENT Surgeon with specialist expertise in voice disorders, thyroid and salivary gland disease, and the diagnosis of head and neck cancer. He treats both adults and children, managing the full range of general ENT conditions.
He is the Lead Clinician for Head and Neck Services at University Hospital Lewisham and was previously Clinical Lead for Laryngology at a major NHS Trust in Surrey. He is a core member of the head and neck, and thyroid cancer multidisciplinary teams and has established links with the endocrine multidisciplinary team for the management of complex thyroid and parathyroid disease.
Mr Fang completed ENT specialist training in London, Kent and Surrey, including paediatric ENT at Great Ormond Street Hospital. His clinical interests include hoarseness, vocal cord lesions, throat discomfort, thyroid lumps, salivary gland problems, and head and neck cancers.
He has published numerous peer-reviewed scientific papers and authored chapters in leading ENT reference textbooks. He regularly teaches on national ENT courses and has presented research at international conferences.
